Teletrac Navman is a global telematics and fleet management company that provides an approved electronic Road User Charges (eRUC) solution for the New Zealand market. Through its "RUC Manager" platform, the company replaces traditional paper licences and mechanical hubodometers with in-cab Electronic Distance Recorders (EDRs) that digitally display current RUC balances. The system utilizes high-definition GPS tracking to continuously record distance traveled for light vehicles, electric vehicles (EVs), heavy trucks, and independent trailers. Teletrac Navman's software allows fleet operators to automate the purchasing of new RUC distance units directly from the New Zealand Transport Agency. Additionally, the system automatically tracks off-road vehicle activity and pre-populates the necessary data to submit off-road RUC refund claims without manual paperwork.
